2011 is going to be a year full of new technological devices which will please anyone who likes that sort of thing. The following are some of the must have devices which will be appearing in 2011. You will probably be considered to be a bit behind the times if you don’t have a few of these devices at least.

 

- One of the major technological sensations that we are likely to see in 2011 is the 3D television. There have been huge improvements in the technology for these televisions recently and they are becoming more and more synonymous with top entertainment. At the moment, 3D televisions require the user to wear 3D glasses but there are rumours that in 2011 we will see 3D televisions introduced which will not require us to wear these glasses at all.

 

- Many experts are predicting the rise of Google Android devices so much so that they will probably become a huge rival to Apple during 2011. The Nexus One smart phone is a fantastic device that is sure to be a huge hit over the coming months. Don’t be surprised if this phone or one of the next Android devices actually becomes more popular than the iPhone.

 

- This year there will be plenty of other tablet devices appearing on the market which will more than likely pose a challenge to the iPad which is currently leading the way. People have warmed to this format straight away so we will probably see some new technology which will just blow our minds.

 

- HD media is continuing to increase and this year might be when it really takes over. And we could also see DVDs on the way out with more of us preferring to go down the route of the Blu Ray which gives us even greater quality when it comes to watching movies and other shows. The cost of a cinema trip is so expensive these days that it is no wonder that more of us are deciding to watch movies at home.
